Golden Garden

My first game where I made the pixel art myself. Made for 8-bits-to-infinity's Mundane Jam of March 2021 with the theme "Decay" which I happened to win the "Community Choice" as the #1 rated game :D

A puzzle game where you need to sacrifice vegetables in order to fertilize plants.

Post Jam Changes v1.01
- Fixed some text errors
- Added a wall in Lvl13 so the player cant jump off the map
- Fix a bug where falling off the map would break the game, it should not happen anymore... but in case it does, it only consider the character dead and keep the game going.
- Tweaked the Squash collision so the Carrot doesn't bounce off it when jumping close to it
- Reduced volume of the dialog sound effect as it's the first and loudest sound effect of the game
- Added the switch character hint in lvl 4 again since it's the first place the order is important
- Disabled VR plugins so VR headsets are not auto-detected
- Added current level in pause menu
- Fix not being able to close the pause menu by pressing Esc again
- Added an animation on the tutorial golden vegetable on the start of a new dialog box, so it's clearer why the character is there.
